Attorney Mark A. Johnson represents employees in discrimination, retaliation, and wage cases. He has worked with Elzer Law Firm since 2020. Mark has completed NELA's Trial Boot Camp, an intense three-day seminar taught by some of the best employee-side attorneys in the country, which culminates in a mock trial of a real employment case.
After graduating law school, Mark moved to Washington, DC, where he served as Legislative Counsel to a Congressman representing his hometown in Iowa. His legislative portfolio included Labor, Judiciary, Ethics, Crime, Consumer Protection, and Telecommunications. Mark thoroughly enjoyed his time on Capitol Hill, and hopes to hold elected office in the future.
In 2010, Mark moved back to Pittsburgh. He later worked for a major employee-side law firm. He has also worked on several large litigation projects throughout the years. He has volunteered many hours of his time representing unemployed individuals in unemployment compensation cases.
Mark is an Eagle Scout and a general lover of nature. When not working at Elzer Law Firm, he enjoys video games, gardening, Japanese language and culture, and drawing.
